A few years ago, I stumbled upon this beautiful art card pictured above on ebay.
I found art cards to be like potato chips you can't have just one.
I became hooked ....
The plan was to collect, frame and display a small grouping of
Geishas..
But to date I only have two geisha ACEO..
I fell in love with a few more but so did other bidders
with bigger pockets then mine.
My cards still are not framed. However, they are not hidden
away.
I enjoy looking upon their faces to much to tuck them in a drawer.

Whow these are great! The colors of the first one and both drawings are amazing! Too bad you cannot find/purchase more. I will look for them too, but I have never seen them before.
Thanks for sharing!
They are both beautiful little pieces of art. I wouldn't want to put them away in a drawer either. Good luck on finding more.
How pretty! I like the first one especially. I hope more turn up for you.
They are beautiful. I hope that you will be able to collect some more and group them like you planned. They would make a stunning display!

Gosh, those are beautiful. I have a paper geisha doll my grandmother gave me that she received from an importer she worked for. I've always been fascinated by them and their culture. So many hidden stories, I suspect.
Oh, I hope you have read "Memoirs of a Geisha"!
Happy Spring to you Louise!Your banner looks luscious!
