We all have dreams what are yours?
I dream of Paris..
or maybe London...
with kids in college it will be awhile..
When I was younger I used to dream of babies,
It took me a long time but I full filled that dream....
I use to dream of building a saltbox house; we did it
now I dream of a small cottage..
I am content with my life
and happy to be here..
Still I love to dream
I know some will be and some will not
My father use to say it was the artist in me
My mother said it was the girl still inside of me
My husband says it is the romantic me

So very beautiful Louise! I have the Paris dream too. I loved your comment on my last post. My hubby and I laughed our heads off! Kiss the donkeys for us. ;~)
Hugs! Nancy
Louise, thanks so much visiting my blog and including one of my photos in your collage here! It is filled with my kind of colors...so serene and lovely! I especially enjoyed the quote with this line, "Water them with worry and fear and you will produce weeds that choke the life from your dream. Water them with optimism and solutions and you will cultivate success." I need to plaster that on my wall and read it everyday...lol!!! I am a worrier and find myself much more pessimistic than I should be. So thanks for sharing that...helped me a lot!
As far as my dictionary...I have a few older ones...by all means they are not antiques or anything...but between the 20's-50's...I used to use them for artwork, until I realized I preferred their definitions to more current dictionaries.
Very pretty! I love your thoughts about dreams. Makes me want to be careful what I water my dreams with, too -- love that quote!
Enjoyed reading about your children a bit. Mine are not little anymore, but not quite grown. These in-between years are certainly a time of transition and looking ahead with dreams and hopes, and perhaps a tear in the eye.

Hi Louise,
Thanks so much for visiting me. I just LOVE this post. I have your same dreams, we must be close in age. I have one son in college and one on his way after next year.
A cottage sounds heavenly...adore your photo collage!!!
Dreamy post Louise! I dreamed of going to Tuscany and just did that in April...I am grateful. I dream of that "perfect for me" cottage someday. Until then I continue to fluff, paint and decorate my cottage.
Hugs,
Penny
This last year has so just been about survival for me that I had forgotten to cultivate my dreams, have forgotten JUST to dream. Thank you for the reminder sweet Friend. :)
I love that Lao Tzu quote you put in. I've never read that before but it's inspiring for me right now. Thank you.
Aren't those photos scrumptious?! Oh, I just love every single one of them. Blessings... Polly

That is wonderful, I love your quotes, they are really inspiring and conjure up beautiful images. I always dream of travelling, and I dream of having space and a beautiful home in the country when we retire one day
This is a subject that makes me think. What are my dreams? I just might already be living them....
Oh you know I am dreaming of Ireland. The Emerald Isle.
and dreaming is part of the fun..
when we give up our dreams ..we die..

A lovely post! It is always good to have dreams, I think.
Thank you for your comment - I too wonder who was the last to walk through that door.

Hello again, Louise! Just wanted to say thanks for dropping by my blog and to invite you back! The open house posts(3) were earlier than the 'Tagged' post on Thursday, if you're interested.
Hugs,
Liv
Me again! Forgot to tell that I snagged a fairy name from your site! Love fairies. I'm Bramble Icefrost! Which kinda works for me since I'm a Libra.
We just returned a few days ago from a week in Hawaii. Our children took us there for our 50th wedding anniversary. I'm way behind on my blogging. I'm trying to get caught up.
You're dreaming of going to Paris and London. I've been to both of those places. It was a dream come true. I especially liked London. I hope you see your dreams all fulfilled.
Aloha

...and your whole family says a correct word about you. It' s all in us!! We stay children, artists, dreamers for the whole life. I never will end with dreaming - when I end with dreaming I am dead!!!
So keep your dreams!!!
Have a great time

Dreams are what keep us young. We all need to have dreams so that we have hope. Loved the quote!
