"surreal" with Three Muses

The bringer of dreams

The Three Muses Challenge theme this week is "surreal".
This is my first time participating with the talented artists that show their work every Wednesday. I did a digital collage using one of my doll's pictures. My kids are always saying my dolls are surreal..... they are not fans.

Your picture is exquisite. I love anything with windows and was torn between a windows surreal and the one I ended up with. Yours is beautifully crafted and would look fantastic, framed and hung on a child's bedroom wall. I love it!

This is so beautiful- the concept and digital work! It is truly surreal but has so much depth and expression- a story behind it...!

I love it! I really do. It's beautiful and intriguing.

Congrats to your Bostonite! (Is that what you call them?) The pics were so pretty!

This is so pretty Louise! I think you just captured 'Surreal'. It is funny; my daughter feels the same about the antique dolls I have. A flirty bisque Heubach doll is the creepiest in her opinion. I sometimes think that antique dolls are the same as good wine, or French cheese, you have to learn to appreciate them!
You did a great job! Did I already tell you that I love your other blog too?! Have a nice day!

Well done! Too bad your kids- and a lot of other people, unfortunately- equate the word "surreal' with weird or creepy...like people associating digital art with being easy because "it's just using a program'...think you've proved otherwise!

This is wonderful Louise...I have been playing with doll faces for the last few months as well. We are both fans of dolls. Neat how you did that window frame...

It's beautiful! I had to click on the image to see the fairies up close.
The sky background makes me think of Magritte.
