A little bit of luck.....

A few weeks ago
Chrisy of artdecadence hosted a photo give-away for Tim Irving.

and I won ...
above are the three I picked....
I can wait to go out and get frames for them....
The p0lka dotted dress is called The Dancing Dress and is
so wonderful, the image you see does not do it justice...
To see more of his fantastic work go to Tim’s Etsy Store.

Thank you Chrisy and Tim I love my photos...
Do any of you watch Project Runway?
I do all of the time; one of my favorite outfits from this season is this wonderful paper dress.
Some how I missed the fact that these dresses are
auctioned off after the show.....I would loved to have had this one displayed somewhere in my house .....projectrunway.auction.

I had a few paper dresses in the sixties. I wore one to school once I was so worried that it would tear that I never wore one again.

I would have worn this one when I was younger, it is not paper and look at those wonderful boots...

Saturday was my granddaughter’s tenth birthday party,
it also had to do with fashion…
This party was so much work, but worth it in the end.
It was a great party.
As soon as I get the pictures from my son-in-law, I will post them…

Lucky girl, but I think you deserve it!!

Yes, I do watch project runway. It's the only series I am following. Yesterday we had the paper episode, I thought we were way behind, but that isn't the case I understand now. Yesterday I was in the cinema with my lovely neighbour Z, (we saw Machan, a very funny film about a made up hand ball team from Sri Lanka trying to escape in Germany). So I only saw the runway part, but I was so inspired. How was it possible to make such beautiful clothes out of paper? I liked almost anything! There was a paper dress (for yourself) challenge a while ago in blogland, do you remember?
Congrats to your granddaughter Louise, may she have a very happy and healthy year ahead!

I have never seen that show...but I know I'd love it! Have to find out the time. My hubby gets upset as it is that I watch so many dance shows! LOL He's not into those...and I am "hogging" the TV!
Oh well...
I would have worn that dress too Louise! Oh to be so young again...where does the time go?
