Gathering Dust: It's Time to BLING YOUR BIRDHOUSE

When the little fairies were told of this event they enlisted the help of the
old gnome lady.
They gathered the wild rosebuds and pinecones that were needed to make a wee
birdhouse for a wee fairy bird.

and just in time it all came together using the honey of the bees for the glue...

Zelle and the Butterfly

My camera is out getting fixed, so I wasn't going to do today's show and tell.
But I saw a lovely post about the meaning of the butterfly that is placed in each mosaic pieces done by Penny of http://lavenderhillstudio.blogspot.com/.
This reminded me of some pictures I have of one of my favorite dolls in my collection.
Her name is Zelle and she is a reproduction Bleuette, the pictures were taking a few years ago.

My granddaughter Emma and I found 3 monarch caterpillars while walking in our back field. We brought them inside on the milkweed that they were found on so that Emma could take them home and watch them change into butterflies... When it was time for Emma to go, one of the caterpillars was missing, so Emma happily took the two remaining ones home.

A few days later I found a chrysalis (see in above picture) under Zelle's birdcage,

and the following Sunday I woke up to this bit of magic on my doll's hand.

This is Zelle outside letting the butterfly free.
