Oh my that was many years ago, I am embarrassed to say……… I don’t remember!

My family's farm, it is all houses now…..I know that is not what this question is about, but that was the first thing that came to my mind when I read the question….

9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days? A friend just lost her husband, two cousins that are very ill…

What have you been seriously addicted to lately? art work and crafts , it funny I stopped doing anything for a long time , blogging has helped me to get back to it, in fact I cleaned out tons of supplies and dumped some and put the rest in a tag sale... then a few months later I found some art blogs …..I kick myself all the time because I had great stuff.

14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
Creative, I love her drawings….. the Story Board ..

15. What's the last song that got stuck in your head?
I Love a Flower Girl….by the Cowsills ( the singers of “Hair“ the 60‘s was all about the hair) …. Penny of lavenderhillstudio had it playing one day on her blog and I sang it for days after…. my husband use to sing this to me when we were dating....

16. What's your favorite item of clothing? My jean jacket…..

17. Do you think Rice Krispies are yummy? Yes, that is why I have a LOL body image…

18. What would you do if you saw $100 lying on the ground?
I would try to find the person who dropped it….I remember years ago my husband found a check book that had a bit of money in it, he called the women that it belonged to, she was so happy, that was all the money she had for the month….
She was on the way to the bank to make a deposit when she lost it…

19. What items could you not go without during the day? Coffee, coffee, COFFEE, did I say

20. What should you be doing right now? cleaning the kitchen and doing laundry….

I have to thank Karla of karlascottage for this …“THANK YOU KARLA” she was published in the spring issue of Somerset Life and showed her art kits on her blog.
I picked up the spring issue to read about her kits and fell in love with the Somerset Life magazine. I ordered the two
back issues. read more about the art kits and said to myself “I do this all the time”. Looked around my workroom and had a few almost done, just needed to find a box and add a few more things.

Last September my granddaughter Emma and I set up this fairy door for the fall fairies to come and play.

This is what I found this morning at the same spot …

I have been cleaning out some old magazines and came across this Better Homes and Garden, 100's of Needlework & Craft Ideas spring 1980..

I loved this apron and planned on making it but somehow 28 years flew by.....

and it never got done..

had this wonderful article on bookplates..

Decided I would spend more time in old bookstores to try to find some..

18 years go by .....

I had trouble finding the time to go to Borders then, what was I thinking my kids were little...

I did take the time this morning to read the article again and it inspired me today as much as it did back then....

so bookplates go back on the list....

I enjoy going through my old magazines…
Have not made much progress as to throwing any out ..
I find them to be like a journal, a keeper of things I love….

Wonders of the World Wednesday

My wonder for today is Bubbles. I can honestly say that I have not been without a jar
of bubbles since my teenage years.
The why will be for another day.

There is Magic in these soapy air filled rainbow things…

For this we need a

bubble recipe…
1 part ultra-Joy brand

8 parts pure water (I use distilled)

1/4 part glycerin
