Christmas is about
Family and friends and the time
We spend together…..

It is about childhood years

Good years

and just because it is cute years…
Christmas is about celebrating
New homes

New life

And friends like you…
Christmas is about

a few surprises

traditions…

And trying to be wise in the upcoming year…
Christmas is the keeper of memories
Of a tiny sister

And moms and dads that are no longer here….
Christmas is about
Love
Hope
And a wee bit of magic…
May you all have the Merriest of holidays
And find peace and happiness in the New Year…

Louise,
I really enjoyed this post. It's so easy to forget what Christmas is REALLY about when we get caught up in the Holiday Whirlwind. Thanks for the reminder...
Oh, and I simply ADORE that sweet little mouse in his pink boot!
Happy Holidays to you, my new friend,
Kate
What beautiful and wise words and pretty ornaments and memories! All good things to ponder and remember.
I like Christmas now more than ever. It's funny to think that is possible, but we make our own fun. This year all of our orphan friends (with no family) will come for dinner and a white elephant exchange. Can't wait!
Merry Christmas Louise!!
May yours be filled with that special sparkling magic!

Hi Louise! I didn't neglect you on purpose lately. I had this awfull cold and was sneezing all day and night. A bad cold takes a couple of weeks to heal and so I was having a blog break. I do hope you had a lovely Christmas with your family. And now I'm wishing you and your family a very good, happy and healthy New Year! Thanks for all your lovely posts in 2009, I am looking forward to even more inspiration from your blog in 2010!
Happy New Year Louise!! Hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday. May this be the beginning of your best and most creative year yet!
